The corona pandemic has accelerated a development whose consequences doctors have been warning of for years. Many children and young people have gained weight during the pandemic. In some cases, they consumed significantly more sweets and snacks than before, exercised less and media consumption also increased. These are some of the results of a representative Forsa survey that the Weihenstephan nutritionist Hans Hauner presented together with the doctor Susann Weihrauch-Blüher at an online press conference.
