After the explosion, a car was seen in a driveway engulfed in flames. The firefighters who responded to the scene put out the fire and saw the 59-year-old man, who was pronounced dead in the place. His name has not been released.

It was not immediately clear whether the explosion was provoked or accidental, or whether the man died in the flames or the car was burned with the body inside. The City Coroner’s Office (OCME) will determine the cause and time of death, while firefighters investigate the cause of the fire.
