In Bashkiria in 2020, 1,977 people with HIV infection were identified. The Republican Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases named the cities and districts in which the most patients were found.
As the institution told UfaTime.ru, more than a quarter of all HIV cases were registered in Ufa – 463 people.
