Al-Marsad Newspaper: Weather expert and weather forecaster Abdullah Al-Osaimi said that the coming winter season is expected to be the coldest in years.
He explained, during a tweet he posted on his account on the social networking site “X”: “The next season, God willing, is expected to witness an early, long and very cold winter in most regions.”
He added, “Winter may begin in the second half of November due to the expectation of the activity of the Azores high on the one hand, and the activity of the Siberian front on the other, causing the effect of several successive moderate to strong cold waves, and it will often be the coldest winter in years.”
In another tweet, he indicated that the eastern El Nino and the positivity of the Indian Ocean will cause, God willing, an early autumn activity that starts from the highlands and extends to some central, northern and eastern regions.
However, because we are facing a different situation from El Nino, most of the results still outweigh the actual benefit for the eastern and southeastern sections, and God willing, a good season for all regions.
