Subject: “Anger about unfair Corona rules”, in the NWZ from November 13th.
Even if the Lower Saxony Corona Ordinance leaves the education sector for adults largely unaffected by restrictions, I expect from an adult education center that it does not lose its sense of proportion and that practically all of its offerings under the guise of education in a phase in which even the Chancellor us citizens admonished to only take care of the really vital things outside of the home, let it continue as if there were no Corona. Not every offer of an adult education center is what is generally understood by education. Belly dancing, drumming, line dancing, yoga, dance, Pilates and much more are more likely to be leisure activities that don’t let people go stupid if they are temporarily absent. For example, I can understand the uncomprehending operators of fitness studios and also sports clubs who are not allowed to offer the same offers while the full program is running at the adult education center. I just expect a little more sensitivity and solidarity from those in charge at an adult education center. This is especially true in a time of increasing corona infections.
