More than 200 combat vehicles and more than 1.2 thousand military personnel from Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania and the United States will take part in the Three Swords-2021 exercise.
Ukraine will host the Multinational Military Exercise Three Swords-2021 with the participation of military personnel from Ukraine, as well as from Lithuania, Poland and the United States. The exercises will take place from 17 to 30 July. About it informs press service of the General Staff of VSU.
“Three Swords-2021 is a multinational exercise that will be conducted as a command post exercise and exercises involving troops to carry out maneuvers in the field,” the statement said.
The event will be attended by over 1.2 thousand servicemen, more than 200 combat vehicles.
A unit of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will participate from Ukraine.
In our country, such exercises will be held for the first time. They are a continuation of the partnership program of international military cooperation between the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Poland and Ukraine.
The General Staff added that the exercises will increase the level of security in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as help Ukraine continue to reform the Armed Forces in accordance with NATO standards.
