According to the Global Times, Ma kidnapped a 45-year-old woman in a village in Qingyang City in April 2016, killed a 45-year-old woman by administering poison, and then killed 35,000 yuan (about 35,000 yuan (approx. 6,800,000 won) and sold.

He kidnapped another 51-year-old woman with his accomplices and killed him in the same way, and sold the body for 42,000 yuan (7.3 million won).

After that, Ma was arrested 11 days later by the Shaanxi provincial police authorities and prosecuted and tried.

He subsequently appealed, but the court dismissed it, and eventually Marsh was executed on the 8th.
