An excavator damaged a gas pipe during construction work in Hamburg-Altona. The fire brigade was on duty from the afternoon to early evening on Wednesday, and no one was reportedly injured. “We have carried out measurements,” said a spokesman. Fire protection has been set up just in case. According to the information, buildings in the area were also checked. The damaged area has now been closed again, the spokesman said.
