Ex-Russian Bublik fell into hysterics on the tennis court: such a shame will be remembered for a long time

The behavior of tennis player Alexander Bublik shocked the fans in the stands and near the TV screens.

Former Russian tennis player Alexander Bublik (50th in the ATP rankings), currently playing for Kazakhstan, will be remembered for a long time for his behavior during the duel against the Frenchman Grégoire Barrera at the tournament in Montpellier.

In front of the opponent’s six-point match point, the representative of Kazakhstan was unable to suppress his anger because of the approaching defeat and was greatly disgraced in front of the army of millions of tennis fans: in a malicious impulse, he smashed three rackets on the court in half a minute, causing a whistle and condemning shouts in the stands in his address .

Such a shocking discharge of aggression and a surge of negative emotions only partially helped the ex-Russian: he managed to win back three match points, but the hopelessness of the situation was reinforced concrete. As a result, Barrera brought the matter to a logical victory, and in addition to defeat, the Kazakhstani tennis player, apparently, will also have to pay a fine for inability to control himself.

Bagel – Barrera 4:6, 7:6, 6:7

By the way, a similar incident has already occurred at big tennis tournaments. In 2012, the Cypriot Markos Baghdatis destroyed four rackets in about the same 30 seconds in a lost second-round match of the Australian Open against Swiss representative Stan Wawrinka.

Recall that at the end of January, Ukrainian tennis player Anastasia Soboleva snatched victory from Russian Daria Lodikova at the ITF W15 tournament in Antalya and took the trophy. The duel ended 6:7, 7:5, 7:6 in favor of the representative of Ukraine.
