Lucknow: Accused arrested in robbery incident from ex-IAS officer’s flat. The police arrested a young man named Yogendra, who had been working in their house for eight years. The arrest was on Sunday.
The complaint against him was that he stole jewelery worth Rs 16 lakh and Rs 1 lakh. They filed a police complaint regarding the incident on Friday.
The police caught the accused by checking the CCTV near their house. The police say that he committed the theft a month ago. He had the house key with him. He continued to work at home to avoid suspicion of theft. The police also said that five stolen gold ornaments and Rs 1.5 lakh were seized from him.
