However, Haakon is far from the only one who is touchingly caring for the sick princess. Queen Sonja, 82, took her on a “girls’ excursion”, for example, sister-in-law Renate Jonassen, the wife of Mette-Marit’s brother, went on a bike tour with her. The latter turned out to be a real challenge for the lung sufferer. When she reached the finish line, she was thrilled. “What a way, what a story, what a landscape – and what a sister-in-law,” Mette-Marit writes under numerous pictures that she posts on Instagram.
