Lidl calls back French soft cheese

Lidl calls back a French soft cheese on suspicion of E. coli bacteria. The bacteria were detected in the product in an investigation.

The affected product comes from the supplier Jermi Käsewerk GmbH. It is “Meine Käserei Brie de Nangis, French soft cheese made with raw milk, approx. 100 g” with the identification mark DE BW 331 EG and the following best-before dates and lot numbers: best-before date 19/01/2020, lot number L29 513 best-before date 20/01/2020, lot numbers L29 513 and L29 514.

The product was sold in the federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate.
