Number of bank branches in our country drops below 4,000

The number of bank branches in our country has fallen below 4,000 in the past year, according to a count by the NGO Financité. And it is mainly the four major banks that are closing the doors of their branches at a rapid pace. The number of ATMs has also almost halved in the past ten years.
