Anschober and Kurz leave open when school closings come.
Vienna. The 100-person limit for indoor events also applies to catering. That was explained by Minister of Health Rudolf Anschober (Greens) on Tuesday in ZiB2 of ORF. Whether and when school closures could occur in Austria remained open. “It can be quick, but it doesn’t have to be,” he said.
Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP) previously said in a special ZiB on corona infection: “Measures at schools will be the next step.” Anschober also emphasized that a solution variant had been prepared. But first you have to see how the current package will be implemented.
An additional measure to minimize social contact with potentially infected persons was made by Anschober: Work is currently underway to create the possibility of sick leave by telephone.
