Later she got and husband Ryan Gosling another daughter, Amada. “I look up to women who can do everything at once, but I’m not like that. And luckily I had the choice not to work for a while. I realize that is a privilege, ”said the actress in the interview. “I am very happy to have been able to spend this time with my babies, but they are now four and six. I am slowly starting to feel that ambition again. ”

entertainment">Although Mendes cherishes time with her daughters, she confesses that she and Gosling have occasionally had a rough time during the quarantine. “Sometimes it felt like we were one bed and breakfast ran with aggressive guests ”, the actress jokes. “Sometimes it was like working in a hotel with angry guests demanding that we bring them food. And by the time they went to sleep, all we could do was tidy up and discuss how we were treated that day. ”
