The golf airline is expanding its partnership with Acces Rail. It enables passengers to book train and bus tickets in Europe in connection with their flight price via the airline’s online booking platform or via their travel agency. Etihad guests can use the airline’s EY code to transfer to and from their international flights on major European rail routes, including an expanded network of seven Deutsche Bahn rail routes from Frankfurt Airport. The program includes connections to Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart.

The partnership with Acces Rail has also expanded to the UK and now includes 16 destinations west of London Heathrow on the Great Western Railway, and subject to final government approval, 28 cities across Italy with the country’s main rail operator, Trenitalia.
