TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – iPhone SE 2022, which is expected to roll out next week, has entered manufacturing for mass production starting this month. This news comes from an analyst nicknamed Apple expert, Ming-Chi Kuo, quoted from the GSM Arena page, Sunday, March 6, 2022.
Appleaccording to him, targets to ship 25 million to 30 million units of the latest iPhone SE just this year.
Apple will hold an event on March 8, expected to be iPad Air and the latest version of the iPhone SE was among the product lines introduced that day.
Rumors are circulating that the latest generation iPhone SE, also known as the iPhone SE 3, will be called the iPhone SE + 5G. The design of this phone is expected to be the same as the iPhone SE 2020, only that it can connect to a 5G network.
Ming-Chi Kuo said the iPhone SE + 5G will come in three color options, namely white, black and red. As for storage capacity, Apple will provide 64GB, 128GB and 256GB variants.
This phone will be powered by the A15 Bionic chip, which is also used in the iPhone 13 series. Apple has not confirmed this news, however, Ming-Chi Kuo has an accurate track record in predicting Apple’s devices.
Previous news, the iPhone SE will be priced starting at US $ 300 or equivalent to Rp. 4.3 million. The price is much lower than the previous generation, namely the 2020 iPhone SE or the second generation iPhone SE which at the time of its initial sale was sold for US $ 399 or around Rp. 5.7 million.
The latest price for the iPhone SE 2022 is a prediction issued by an Apple analyst named John Donovan. However, Apple analyst Daniel Ives argues that Apple may stick to a similar price tag with the launch of the second-generation iPhone.
The phone will be the cheapest 5G smartphone from Apple and it is expected that with the upgraded chipset along with camera performance and 5G network, users can still get a good experience while using the phone.
In terms of design, there are certainly no major changes and still maintain the style that has been used since the iPhone SE was launched in 2017.
