SOE Minister Erick Thohir appointed Hadjar Seti Adji as Director of Human Capital and Development of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk or WIKA. The appointment of Hadjar Seti Adji was approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) which was held today.
Hadjar replaces the previous director who was assigned to another state-owned company.
In his official statement, Friday (5/8/2022), WIKA President Director Agung Budi Waskito said, the presence of Hadjar Seti Adji) was a refresher to maintain the company’s performance, in order to answer the trust of shareholders and the public.

In terms of performance, WIKA has won new contracts amounting to Rp 13.8 trillion, an increase of 31.4% over the same period the previous year. Most of the revenue was contributed by the infrastructure and building sectors, followed by construction support industries, energy and industrial plants, as well as realty and property.
In the series of new contracts won, there is a road and bridge preservation project in Bali entrusted by the Ministry of PUPR. This project serves as infrastructure to support the G20 event in October 2022.
WIKA is also working on a number of G20 supporting projects, including the construction of the Labuan Bajo – Tana Mori road and bridge, as well as revitalizing the VVIP room at Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali.
On the other hand, in the second quarter, the company has successfully divested its two associated entities, namely PT Jasamarga Kunciran Cengkareng and PT Prima Terminal Petikemas. Agung added that this step is a form of capital recycling that can create more space for the company to fulfill future investments, as well as increase the company’s cash as new working capital so that it can focus more on its core business.
