After three years in post in Polynesia, the representative of the State leaves his functions at the fenua and puts an end to his career as a senior civil servant to assert his retirement rights. And in the absence of a council of ministers on Wednesday in Paris, the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron being on the move in Africa, the future high commissioner in French Polynesia has not yet been appointed. It could be during a council of ministers this Thursday. In the meantime, it is once again the secretary general of the high commission, Éric Requet, who will act as interim high commissioner before the arrival of Dominique Sorain’s successor.
