England star Rose criticizes league start: ‘like laboratory rats’

England international Danny Rose has again sharply criticized the upcoming Premier League restart.

Top League professionals would be treated “like guinea pigs or lab rats” to provide entertainment during the coronavirus pandemic, the Newcastle United defender told The Lockdown Tactics.

A total of 748 people were tested for the Sars CoV-2 virus on Sunday and Monday, the Premier League said on Tuesday. There were six people who tested positive for Corona. The 29-year-old said that he “absolutely had to play football again” and that he didn’t really want to sue – but not at any price. “I can imagine people at home saying that footballers earn so much, so they should go back,” said Rose. “But for me it’s not worth the effort. I could potentially risk my health for people’s entertainment.”

Rose had already described the league restart scheduled for June 12 as “damned joke” last week. According to media reports, the restart could be delayed by another week.
