England: Police called Maguire’s home after bomb threat

A spokesperson for Harry Maguire confirmed on Thursday that police were called to the Manchester United defender’s home over a bomb threat.

“In the last 24 hours, Harry has received a serious threat to his family home. He reported this to the police, who are now investigating the matter. The safety of his family and those around him is obviously his number one priority.” Sky News.

After the 4-0 rout at Anfield Road on Tuesday, the red devils return to play this Saturday, at Arsenal’s ground. “He will continue to prepare for this weekend’s game as normal and we will not comment further on details at this time,” said the Manchester United captain’s spokesman.

Cheshire Police, it should be noted, had also previously reported that they had been called to an incident after reports of a bomb threat in the Wilmslow area.
