England, parrots swear in front of the public: the zoo is forced to remove them

The five birds arrived at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park on August 15: they passed on “the ability” to each other during the quarantine period, during which they shared the same cage.

Bad company – To find parrots foul-mouthed happens, but dealing with a group of five “professional blasphemers” is a practically unique case. It happened in Lincolnshire Zoo, England, where the first visitors to the post lockdown reopening were victims of all kinds of abuse. The incident left the public speechless, and the management preferred to arrange the five birds away from the people, in view of the weekend when many children arrive at the zoo. The parrots would have learned of each other’s blasphemies during the quarantine period spent in the same cage.

Like in a post-work – According to the park director, Steve Nichols, the laughter of the zoo officials would have encouraged the parrots to swear. The effect was tragicomic: “It was like being in an old after-work club where everyone swears and laughs in a coarse way”. Nichols said. The park ran for cover, separating the five “blasphemers”: each of them will live with other more “polite” parrots, hoping that listening to their cries and also learn good manners.
