Energy Tree Installation at PKO Kedaton Way Halim and Elephant Park Can be Enjoyed for Free

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk presents installation energy tree at the Kedaton Way Halim Sports Activity Center and Elephant Park, Lampung Province.

The handover of the energy tree was attended by the Head of the Lampung Province Tourism Office, Edarwan, the Corporate Secretary LANGUAGE Mahendra Vijaya, and Marketing Director of WIKA Energy Industry Puspita Anggraeni, Saturday (29/1/2021).

WIKA Corporate Secretary Mahendra Vijaya said that this program is a breakthrough in the field of Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL).

The energy tree itself is the result of WIKA Group’s innovation and is a source of energy that can be used for free by visitors to the two locations.

“This initiative is a real manifestation of WIKA’s support for the effort to make PKO Kedaton Way Halim and Elephant Park as landmark the city of Lampung,” Mahendra was quoted as saying in a press release, Sunday (1/30/2022).

The existence of an energy tree will show the advantages of using renewable energy products in terms of efficiency, practicality, and environmental friendliness.

He hopes that the CSR program will be in the form of: Energy Tree installation in Lampung is expected to be a pioneer and trigger the implementation of similar programs in various regions so as to provide wider benefits.

Meanwhile, Head of the Lampung Province Tourism and Creative Economy Office, Edarwan, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to WIKA for the presence of energy trees.

According to Edarwan, the energy tree is believed to be able to increase value (value) public space and tourism in Lampung with a facility that is made aesthetically and environmentally friendly.

He appreciated TJSL of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) for its support for WIKA in implementing this program.

“This provides inspiration to develop tourist destinations in the city of Lampung with clean and renewable energy,” explained Edarwan.

WIKA is also currently carrying out the third dose of Covid-19 vaccination (booster) from 26 January 2022-11 February 2022.

In holding this vaccination, the company cooperates with the Cipinang Cempedak Health Center, East Jakarta.
