Energy prices are rising much faster here than abroad: “Now we are the victims of a variable contract, but later…”

Our energy prices rose on average twice as fast as in neighboring countries last year. That says the Price Observatory on Friday. The explanation is that there is a larger share of variable energy contracts in Belgium. “That’s right”, say specialists, “but they will soon also feel the price increase abroad. Then we might just take advantage of a variable contract.”
