Each new model from Mioveni is available in a very wide variety of versions and, not infrequently, a very useful variant, such as Dacia Duster Commercial, does not reach Romania. Why it’s worth all the money.
Dacia Duster Commercial is the newest creation of the Romanian manufacturer and comes with some very important differences, compared to the Duster we all know. First of all, it was created from scratch for the UK market and it is not very clear if it will reach other parts of the world. In any case, the emphasis is on freight, rather than hosting five people.
Dacia Duster Commercial is not for Romania
Among the features that make this model more special, Dacia Duster Commercial has a loading space with a total volume of 1623 liters and a capacity of 503 kilograms. Also in terms of “utility” details, the 210mm ground clearance and, not negligible, all-wheel drive, 4 × 4.
There are no more seats in the back at Duster Commercial. Instead, the chairs were replaced with a flat, durable wooden floor. The loading surface is separated from the front seats by a mesh, while the rear windows are opaque, as can be seen in the attached images.
Depending on the budget, the new Commercial is available in two versions, Essential and Comfort. Prices range from 15,354 pounds (approximately 17,900 euros) and 16,854 pounds (19,600 euros), respectively. The Essential model has 16-inch steel wheels, Y-shaped LED headlights, black roof bars, air conditioning, electric windows, DAB radio with Bluetooth, USB port, on-board computer and cruise control with speed limiter. In addition, in the Comfort version, there are 16-inch alloy wheels, black-painted mirror covers with electric adjustment and heating, chrome grille, reversing camera and rear parking sensors. Inside, there is an 8-inch touch screen with smartphone integration, two USB ports and a few additional features.
On the engine side, in addition to front or all-wheel drive, you can opt for a power from 90 to 150 horsepower. The manual transmission is standard, but you can opt for the EDC with double clutch and six gears in the case of the TCe 150 engine. The new Duster is Euro 6D-Full certified.
