It was probably a classic match of two completely different halves, wasn’t it?

It is so. The first half was according to our ideas. We did almost everything right. Unfortunately, except for the ending. We had a lot of dangerous chances and breaks, but we didn’t add another goal. At the same time, we were able to lead 3: 0 at half time. In the cabin, we said during the break that we had to play the other half well from behind. That we don’t have to push too hard anymore. We wanted to wait for our chance. But a penalty came that completely passed us. It wasn’t the first time. Unfortunately, we then made other mistakes for which Slovácko punished us.

Wasn’t it also that you came across an opponent with a very young reserve line?
–
Buchta and Kaloč have already played something in the league. And Boula and Peta Jaron have such performance that they already surpass more seasoned partners. It was definitely not about our poor quality. We may have lacked more experience at key moments. But they will bring the matches played.

At your hit, you stayed completely free for a while …
–
I admit that I don’t even remember my goal properly. The ball somehow bounced off at Hradiště sixteen and flew to me. And I sent him to the net.

Failed in Slovácko, you have already lost your theoretical hope for fourth place and the qualification of the Conference League …
–
Unfortunately. We went to Hradiště with the proviso that we would do our best to win to get Slovácko under pressure for the rest of the season. After all, Hradišťské is waiting for the MOL Cup final on Wednesday and they will have a lot of it. It didn’t work out, we missed the last chance to skip Slovácko. All we have to do now is try to finish the league superstructure with honor so that our fans have some reason to smile.

What do you see as the reason why you lagged significantly behind Slovácko in the battle for fourth place in the spring?
–
We did not manage the home match with Teplice, Karviná and Liberec. If we had played the points that were expected of us, we could now be on the same page with Slovácko. The evaluation of the season would look different. However, we spoiled the impression with the mentioned failures on our field.

Many fewer fans came to Uherské Hradiště this time to encourage you than in mid-March, when you started a duel of the basic part of the first league. Do you know why?
–
After some of our recent results, our supporters have a right to be upset. Those who arrived, however, encouraged great.
