Last Saturday, November 5, the Association of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco de La Línea and the Association of the Former Tunos of Malaga “Cuarentuna de Marbella” had a twinning ceremony which took place in the “María Auxiliadora” chapel of the Salesian House of La Línea de la Concepción.

After the signing of the documents confirming the aforementioned twinning and the delivery of the gifts between the two Associations, the Cuarentuna de Marbella sang three songs at the feet of María Auxiliadora in an exciting moment.

Subsequently, the two Associations had a moment of conviviality having lunch at La Serranawhere the people who ate us were lucky enough to hear the songs of this beautiful prickly pear that has participated in the Ciudad de La Línea International Competition since its foundation and which, as they said in the act of “María Auxiliadora” will continue to come every year even if there is no competition because coming to La Línea is like coming home.

This act is the preamble of a new competition, the fifth, that the Association of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco de La Línea de la Concepción has organized since its foundation, with the close collaboration of the Municipality and various companies and businesses of the Linea of conception.

Recall that the V Competition City of La Linea it will take place on the first weekend of February (Friday 3 and Saturday 4) and this year will see the participation of nine prickly pears from different parts of the Spanish geography, including the Canary Islands and Portugal.

The final goal of the Alumni Don Bosco Association is to be grateful for the education received by the Salesians since their arrival in La Línea in 1958 and to demonstrate it through the development of activities, all of a charitable nature, for many young people and social classes. disadvantaged.
