AJMAN, October 25 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council and Sovereign of Ajman, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, received today in his court to the Court, the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, and his accompanying delegation, which included Dr. Barnaba Marial, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Dr. Nadia Urub Dodi, Minister of Culture and Heritage, Simon Nin, Director of External Security, Garang Garang, Ambassador of South Sudan to the United Arab Emirates, and Kondok, Consul General in Abu Dhabi.

His Highness the Ruler of Ajman welcomed President Salva Kiir and his accompanying delegation and discussed ways to improve cooperative relations between the UAE and the Republic of South Sudan, affirming the UAE’s support for everything what reaches the interest of the people of the south Sudan and its aspirations for prosperity and development His Highness and President Salva Kiir also exchanged speeches on a number of issues of common interest.

For his part, the President of South Sudan expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome. He expressed his appreciation for the UAE’s support for his country at the development level and his country’s aspiration to improve the bilateral cooperation with the UAE in all fields. especially in light of the fundamental development and humanitarian role played by the United Arab Emirates on the African continent and its presence at a regional and global level.
