Shabwah, On December 30, 2020, WAM / Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works launched a project to develop hospitals in the Yemeni governorate of Shabwah, as part of the modernization and support of the health care system in the governorate.
This project is within the framework of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him” and the retinue of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court , and President of the Foundation, to alleviate the human suffering of the Yemeni people by adopting health initiatives. The quality of global care in light of the difficulties facing the health sector.
The project involves rehabilitating, rehabilitating and equipping hospitals in Shabwa governorate with medical supplies, equipping them with medical personnel and specializations to ensure their work flow and provide health care to Yemeni citizens.
The project works will start in two phases, the first involves equipping and rehabilitating four pivotal hospitals which are a priority in the province, followed by the second phase, which includes 12 pivotal hospitals in various directorates of Shabwa province.
Assistant Under Secretary of Shabwa Governorate Salem Shamh Al-Nasi Director General of Public Health Office in Shabwa Governorate Dr. Ali Nasser Al-Wolf Khalifa Foundation Representative for Humanitarian Works Mr. Nader Abdul Rahman Al-Mulla, and a number of department heads and specialists from the Public Health and Population Office in Shabwa Governorate.
Assistant Under-Secretary of Shabwa Governorate Salem Al-Nasi underlined the importance of this initiative in support of the health sector and its needs in Shabwa Governorate, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the UAE’s efforts through its humanitarian arm, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works.
In turn, the Director General of the Public Health and Population Office of Shabwa Governorate, Dr. Ali Nasser Al-Wolf with this initiative, stressing that it will constitute a change in the health sector in the governorate, and is part of the efforts of the Foundation Khalifa to develop and raise the level of services provided by the health sector in the governorate.
