The train of the Hessische Landesbahn (HLB) had to stop on Friday morning due to an overhead line damage near the train station in Höchst. This was announced by a spokesman for the fire department. The fire brigade first had to earth the overhead line before the rescue in order to protect the passengers from electric shocks during the evacuation. All 51 passengers could therefore be taken off the train unharmed. According to the fire brigade, they also brought two bicycles safely back to the ground. The deployment therefore lasted about two hours. The route was temporarily closed. The Hessischer Rundfunk had initially reported. – – .
