jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Political Democrat Ferdinand Hutahaean strongly criticized the steps of several people who are members of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE), by holding a declaration at the Proclamation Monument, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (18/8).

According to him, the KAMI movement does not represent the voice of the people.

“So this movement is just a voice movement, aka a bacot movement that will not become a real movement in the field, let alone a people’s movement,” said Ferdinand in his short message to jpnn.com.

Ferdinand reasoned that the US movement did not originate from people’s unrest. Then the figures who were members of the coalition did not get the public’s trust, because of that the US movement was considered not to represent the people.

“The figures in this movement are figures who do not get the trust of the public, only in the class of social media figures and the people clearly believe more in the government than in these people, which I really don’t want to call them figures,” he said.

Besides that, according to Ferdinand, this declaration from the US is only a repetition of similar movements that have already existed.

For example, he said, there was a movement to return Indonesia to the original 1945 Constitution. However, the movement resulted in legal problems.

“In the past, there was a movement back to the original 1945 Constitution, which led to treason, although the legal case was later discontinued at the discretion of the authorities,” said Ferdinand. (ast / jpnn)
