Elon Musk gives his employees an ultimatum on Twitter. Either they are willing to work “extremely hardcore” or they will be fired.

A.D

the essentials in a nutshell

  • Twitter employees need to clarify if they want to continue working for the company.
  • Elon Musk gives them until Thursday to think about it.
  • If you want to stay, you have to work “long hours at high intensity” and be “hardcore”.

Elon Musk is the new head of Twitter and he doesn’t make life easy for his employees. In a leaked email he gives them an ultimatum, among other things. In it he writes, “If you’re sure you want to be a part of the new Twitter, click ‘Yes’ below.”

But you have to commit to working “long hours at high intensity” and be “extremely hardcore”. Exactly what he means by this is not clear from the ultimatum available to the Washington Post. However, it can be assumed that it refers to working hours, effort and dedication.

Musk goes on to say that he will accept only “extraordinary performance”. Employees have until Thursday to think about it. If they decide against the job, they get three months’ salary as a severance pay.

Elon Musk is wreaking havoc on Twitter

With Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter, great chaos has erupted on the social media platform. Within days of the takeover, Musk laid off about half of the workforce.
