Élise is living her sporting dream in the United States.

After two months spent in the United States, Élise begins to feel the lack of those close to her. And good French gastronomy.

She would be willing to pay dearly for a good traditional French baguette. Same goes for cheese, or the choice there is limited to a few slices of Cheddar.

She was also surprised by certain cultural gaps on the part of her American comrades. They were not able to quote the dates of WWII. When an American friend told her about Napoleon, Élise was reassured. They still know a bit of French history.
