The battery the size of on-board luggage allows you to get another range of 32 to 64 km after a while of charging.

One of the biggest concerns of potential people interested in electric cars is the range on a single charge. While for internal combustion vehicles it is not a problem to find a gas station or take a canister with you, the situation is more difficult with charging stations. Their network is not so dense, they can be busy and it is not possible to refuel in the canister. So it was rather impossible.
The novelty called ZipCharge Go is basically something like an electric canister for electric cars. However, we could easily call it an overgrown power bank with a specific Type 2 connector for electric cars. If necessary, it promises to extend their range by about 20 to 40 miles (about 32 to 64 km) depending on the type of electric car.

Although charging is not very fast, it can take 30 to 60 minutes to charge the car, but in an emergency it is a great solution, which is significantly faster than calling acquaintances or a tow truck. In addition, the whole device is relatively compact – thanks to the wheels and the handle, it resembles a small luggage, which easily fits in the trunk. However, it can be more difficult to load – it weighs about 22.6 kg.
„ZipCharge Go is a real-life device that provides recharging that should be enough for a daily mileage,Says Jonathan Carrier, co-founder of ZipCharge. “It provides the freedom and eliminates the burden of finding a charger near your home that is functional or unoccupied.“

ZipCharge plans to launch the Go mobile charger in the last quarter of next year. It will target both fleet customers and private customers. In addition to the possibility of selling for an unspecified amount, those interested will also be able to simply rent the equipment for a monthly fee of approximately £ 49 (less than CZK 1,500), as stated by the InsideEVs website.
