After a shooting incident in the Groningen village of Kiel-Windeweer, eight people were arrested on Saturday evening, the police report Twitter.
The police received a report of a shooting incident on Dorpsstraat around 8.45 pm. Six suspects were initially arrested upon arrival. Later, the police arrested two more people.
One of the suspects was injured in the foot in the incident. It is not yet known whether other people were also injured.
Officers are investigating to find out the cause of the incident and have been on site to secure traces.
According to RTV North the police has pulled out with large equipment to Kiel-Windeweer. Three arrest vans and a van from the Mobile Unit (ME) were present.
The police do not rule out that further arrests will be made.
