Egypt will face a dangerous phase during this period

Dr. Abdel-Latif Al-Murr, a professor of public health at Zagazig University, expressed his optimism about the Pfizer vaccine, which an American company announced its effectiveness against the Corona virus, saying: “But it is not like that,” noting that the vaccination represents a light at the end of the tunnel, and it gives hope to humanity, but not enough; Because it will not be available at the present time.

“Al-Murr” added, during a telephone interview with the “This Morning” program, broadcast on the “Extra News” channel, that Egypt is still at the end of the first wave of the Corona virus, but it is likely on the verge of the second wave due to the activity of viruses and respiratory diseases more in the season winter.

He continued: “The danger in Egypt is the next three or four months, and there will be no vaccination available during this period due to the global marketing of the vaccine,” commenting: “We only have prevention to defeat the Corona virus in the coming months, and with a commitment to wearing a mask and social distancing.”

He pointed out that the Russian vaccine has entered the market, but has not been distributed to the world yet, pointing out that the last phase of the Oxford vaccine has been completed, but it will not be available for four or five months, explaining that the Pfizer vaccine will not be available in the market for two months.
