Education – Potsdam – school lessons start after the Easter holidays with tests – education

Potsdam (dpa / bb) – After the end of the Easter holidays, classes will start again for the almost 300,000 schoolchildren in Brandenburg on Monday. The Abitur exams then start in the final classes of the upper school, as announced by the Ministry of Education. For more than 10,000 students at grammar schools, comprehensive and vocational schools and in secondary education, the exams are about to start. Education Minister Britta Ernst (SPD) wished them every success and strong nerves.

By the end of the first week of school, students have to test themselves three times for the corona virus, and teachers and other school staff are required to test daily before entering the school until the end of the week. Regular testing is also compulsory for children in crèches and day-care centers from the age of 1 and for the staff. All testing obligations will no longer apply from Monday, May 2nd – as long as the health authorities do not order tests as part of quarantine measures.
