The government, represented by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, has been working to improve the educational service provided to students.

In the following report, we monitor the most important figures and indicators in the pre-university education dossier:

2. Intensify collaboration with the private sector to transform more schools into this new style that focuses on quality and meeting the needs of the labor market.

3. Introducing dozens of new specializations in technical education schools to meet the needs of the local and international labor market.

4. Establish sectoral centers of excellence to meet the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.

5. Identify 14 general skills that the graduate must master to meet the needs of the labor market.

6. Develop 90 existing curricula according to the skills methodology out of a total of 125 curricula and review them by labor market representatives.

8. The total number of technical schools where the developed programs are applied has reached about 900 out of a total of 1,300 schools in the current academic year.

9. Complete the development of all curricula and train all teachers and implement them in all schools by October 2024.

10. There are about 14 Nile schools awarding the Nile International Certificate, and there is a plan to expand them.

11. Expansion of Egyptian-Japanese schools, where the number has reached about 51 schools, where students receive high-quality education that depends on the child’s personality construction.

12. The Ministry wished to provide international education at reduced prices through the international public school models, which amounted to approximately 20 schools.

13. Updating and planning of curricula for classes from kindergarten to fifth grade.

14. Tablets have been delivered to nearly 3 million students and teachers since 2018 to date.

15. There are approximately 25 million students receiving educational services in approximately 55,000 schools in various governorates.

17. Improving conditions for teachers, as the cost of structural reforms to improve teacher pay amounts to around £6 billion.

18. Make e-services available to Egyptian students abroad, as the Ministry organizes e-exams for approximately 150,000 students in many countries outside Egypt.

20. Nearly 1.2 million high school students graduated under the new grading system.

21. Equip approximately 2,500 secondary schools with fiber and the Internet as part of the reliance on technology for learning and the provision of various sources of knowledge.

22. Expansion of schools for outstanding students in science and technology to 15 schools in different governorates.
