Ecuadorian presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio was shot dead during a rally, at least eight people were injured. Local media write about it.
“Three shots to the head this Wednesday, August 9, 2023, Fernando Villavicencio Valencia, presidential candidate of the Construje movement, was killed after a political rally held at the Anderson School Coliseum in Quito,” — transmits newspaper El Universo. He was killed as he got into the car.
