Znojmo takes last playoff spot. Quarter-final playoffs begin on March 4th.
Bolzano, Salzburg, Klagenfurt, Graz and Vienna were qualified for the placement round and thus for the playoffs. Once again the cut off of the HCB South Tyrol Alperia, The South Tyroleans started without bonus points and ended the placement round in first place.
They made it into the qualifying round Black Wings Linz and the VSV the playoff qualifier. The last free spot was a fight to the last second. The race finally won HC Orli Znojmo thanks to a 5: 3 victory over the Dornbin Bulldogs and innsbrucks 3: 6 defeat at VSV.
