The news about the Groningen Dance Center comes as a shock. “The blow is so great because teachers, dancers and parent groups of the school have built up a long history and have experienced a lot. Classes have always been of a high standard and the school has performed well locally, nationally and internationally. Joint weekends to these championships, the final presentations and many workshops have made us a close-knit family, ”the school writes in a letter to the dancers.

The lessons will continue for the time being under new leadership. “Our goal is to stay together as a dance family and as a center, to discover and develop dance talent. For us it is clear that the current owner no longer plays a role. We ask for your confidence and support to face a new future with us in a safe environment. ”
