An e-bike rider sustained serious head injuries in a fall in Berlin.
The 40-year-old drove on Tuesday afternoon (March 2nd, 2021) in Kreuzberg on the cycle lane between parked cars and a parcel truck stopped on the street, the police said on Wednesday. When the parcel delivery company opened the sliding door of the van, the cyclist was frightened and crashed into one of the parked cars. The man was taken to hospital with injuries not only to his head, but also to his arm, leg and trunk. The exact course of the accident in Lindenstrasse is now being determined.
