Dutch youth attack compatriot in Italian city of Garda, 18-year-old boy is seriously injured | Inland

Italian media report that a group of Dutch people attacked an 18-year-old boy for no reason after a night out. It would concern four young people between the ages of 20 and 21. They were under the influence of alcohol.

The victim had been to the club with friends that night. On the way home, the youths, who all belong to the same group of friends, continued to harass him. They called him names and tried to stir him up.

The 18-year-old, who was staying at the campsite with his parents, tried to avoid the group. When he tried to walk into the campground, the situation escalated. The boys kicked and kicked him. It wasn’t until he fell to the ground, bleeding, that the boys stopped. The victim suffered serious injuries, especially in his face.

The injuries were stitched up in hospital. It is unclear how the boy is now.

The Italian police quickly arrived on the scene. By observant bystanders, the police were able to quickly track down the Dutch. It is not clear whether the perpetrators have been arrested.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not received a request for assistance in this case, a department spokeswoman said. “So we don’t know any more about it at the moment.”
