Dutch coach Ten Hag admitted Manchester UnitedWith his team’s defensive suffering before playing the upcoming derby against Man City tomorrow, Sunday, in the 27th round of the English Premier League competition for the current season 2023-2024 at Al-Ittihad Stadium.
The Man United coach said in statements to the official website, “We have to solve the puzzle because we are still missing full-backs, we are still missing defensive midfielders.”
“So we have to be creative, but I think we can do this,” Ten Hag added. “On Wednesday we showed that we can do this, if we put the right plan in place.”
The Red Devils’ coach continued, “But more importantly, if we have this passion, ambition, desire and determination to win the match, we will be able to do this.”
Manchester United occupies sixth place in the English Premier League table this season with 44 points, while Manchester City comes in runner-up with 59 points, behind the leaders Liverpool with 60 points.
