Madeleine McCann’s parents have not been in public for a long time, but they revealed on their daughter’s birthday that they still hope to get their child back. The parents remembered Maddie with touching lines, who would now be 20 years old – according to the New York Post Metropolis.
As is known, Madeleine disappeared in 2007 from a holiday in Portugal. Although several suspects have come to the attention of the police in connection with the case, no charges have been brought against anyone due to lack of evidence.
On the occasion of the little girl’s birthday, the parents, Kate and Gerry, wrote this on their Facebook page:
Happy birthday, Madeleine! We love you and we are waiting for you! We still miss you, we never give up hope to find you.
The McCanns were quite upset when a woman recently tried to attract attention by claiming to be Maddie. A DNA test later proved his claims to be unfounded.
