DualSense: New feature of the PlayStation 5 controller revealed

It is already known that it will have a new version of its accessories, such as the joystick of which some details have been revealed.

This will no longer be called DualShock, but will be renamed DualSense and will be sold in white with black tones, like the PlayStation 5. Although that is not the most important thing, since it will also have an improvement in its autonomy, revealed a person outside the company who had access to the console.

Bigger battery

It was a tester (person who tests products before they go on sale), called “Galaxy”, who leaked in his Twitter details of the DualSense remote, confirming that it will have a longer battery life than its previous generation.

He DualSense will have a capacity of 1,560 milliamperes (mA) battery, thus achieving almost double the previous joystick, the DualShock 4, which only reaches 800 mA.

Also, the buttons on this remote control would be much “more comfortable” than those on the PlayStation 4, and they would not have backlighting, according to what was expressed by Galaxy.

Other details of the DualSense

It was in April of this year when the company announced some features that the DualSense, the new joystick of the PlayStation 5.

On that occasion they revealed that “we embrace haptic feedback, which adds a variety of powerful sensations that you will feel when you play, such as the slowness of driving a car through mud”
