Finally a sign of life from Bohlen!
Pop titan Dieter Bohlen (67) has spoken out for the first time since leaving as head of the jury at DSDS.
At Instagram Bohlen turned to his fans in a video. He promised: “I plan big things! You will hear from me – so don’t worry! “
He was “very happy with the situation,” said Bohlen. “I got a lot of offers, of course.” He did not reveal which project he will tackle next.
But the ex-juror is apparently confident: “You know, a thousand new doors open when one closes again.”
The DSDS door is definitely closed for him. On Wednesday RTL announced that the DSDS finale would take place without the pop titan. It was said that he canceled “due to illness at short notice”.

“Wetten, dass ..?” – Veteran Thomas Gottschalk (70) will take a seat on his jury chair at the live semifinals (RTL, Saturday, 8.15 p.m.) in Duisburg – next to Maite Kelly (41) and Mike Singer (21 ).
Dismissed at DSDS, Gottschalk replaces Bohlen – while one hammer followed the next, Bohlen has remained silent until now. Does he watch what Gottschalk is doing at his jury desk in front of the television? So far, he has not wanted to comment on Gottschalk when asked by BILD.
The pop titan is still on sick leave. A few weeks ago he suffered a complicated ankle injury in his right leg.
As a short-term replacement, cult candidate Menderes Bagci (36) was even under discussion. The former king of the jungle to BILD: “I would definitely like to take a seat on Dieter Bohlen’s jury seat.” But nothing came of that.
How it will continue in the next DSDS season is still unclear. BILD learned exclusively: The chief juror is having a Hamburg law firm examine whether he can defend himself against the attack. So it won’t be a peaceful farewell.
What “big things” has Bohlen planned? One can be curious …
