The music for the song “Tam One” is by Andris Buikis, the text uses the poetry of Jānis Damroze, the vocals were sung by both Aija Vītoliņa and the author himself, but the director Valdis Krūmiņš took care of the idea and editing of the video together with the author. The new composition and the soon-to-be-awaited Buiķis solo album were recorded and mixed in the “Ciemupe Productions” studio. “I’m an absolute fan of the 80’s!” its first solo single is commented on by its author. “I think everyone who has survived their childhood at that time has similar feelings. It is and will remain the brightest adventure in our hearts and memories. ”

Admittedly, this song really evokes the memory of the eighties. “No one had been poisoned by 5G yet and life seemed the way it was supposed to be – primitive, simple and unified,” Andris continues nostalgically. “The music of the time I listened to was exactly the same, so I wrote this song – a proof that energy and friendship are immortal. And I had no doubt that I wanted Aija Vītoliņa, the owner of the charming 80’s style voice, to sing it. ” Both musicians have been known for many years, collaborating on countless projects, and Andris considers Aija to be one of the best owners of our country’s voice.

After the song was written, the idea of ​​visualizing the respective moods arose, therefore the new video art specialist Valdis Krūmiņš was invited to help. As Andris says, “a cool guy, a new generation censor who seems to be busy searching for what’s going on and himself … Ideal for this audio and video collaboration!” The new song will be included in Andris Buikis’ debut solo album “Green”, which is scheduled for release on October 26. The album will also be the first project of the newly formed music publishing house “Very Cool Music”. The new label plans to help release, produce and co-produce solo albums by members of the group “Very Cool People”, as well as other funk, soul and jazz recordings.
