What few know is the past of Hunter’s betrayals.
Joe Biden’s youngest son with his first wife, Neilia, is one of the biggest concerns of the US President-elect. Hunter has been battling drug addiction for years, having experienced several relapses. But between 2015 and 2019 the problems accumulated.
The family suffered a heavy blow with the death of Beau Biden at the age of 46, victim of brain cancer. The former Delaware attorney left two children and his wife, Hallie, with whom he had been married for 13 years.

A year after Beau’s death, Haillie began to live a romance with her brother-in-law, Hunter, who faced yet another drug addiction relapse and was going through a divorce with Kathleen after 24 years of marriage.
In an interview with the New Yorker, Hunter revealed that the romance was born when he was “recovering from a week-long crack of stone”. The two became close on a trip to the Hamptons, “sharing very specific pain” from the loss of Beau Biden.

When asked by the press about the younger son’s romance with his sister-in-law, Joe Biden showed his support. “We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie met when they were rebuilding their lives after such a sadness. They have our full support, we are happy for them.”

But the romance did not last. Hanter and Hallie will have ended the relationship in 2019, supposedly amicably, but never revealed the reason. However, it is known another controversy in Hunter’s life at this point.
Cheating with a stripper
In August 2018, stripper Lunden Roberts had a son and made it public that it was the result of his relationship with Hunter Biden, when the lawyer dated his sister-in-law.
Hunter denied being the father of Lunden’s son but a DNA test proved otherwise.

Lightning Wedding
After the separation of sister-in-law Hallie and having assumed the paternity of Lunden’s son, Hunter surprised again in 2019. The lawyer married Melissa Cohen, six days after they met. The two are already parents. The child was born in March.
