The researchers were quoted from Express, found that green, black and oolong teas were shown to increase insulin sensitivity by more than 15 times.

This research shows that drinking tea black, green tea or oolong tea are the best drinks to brew in the morning to prevent diabetes.

The research team from the University Medical Center Utrecht, The Netherlands, also looked for the relationship between tea consumption and risk of type 2 diabetes. They analyzed questionnaire data from 40,011 people over 10 years and identified 918 cases of type 2 diabetes.

The researchers also noted that drinking 3 cups of tea every day can reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 40 percent.

So, the best types of cup of tea to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes are black tea, green tea and oolong tea without added milk and sugar.

But, don’t add milk to it. Because tea mixed with milk will actually reduce the strength of insulin activity. The more milk you add, the less effective the tea will be.
